Trail Etiquette
Throughout this past year, public use of the Lang Hastings Trail has increased greatly.
This is terrific and why the trail exists.
We all hope this continues, however with such a variety of users and social distancing in effect, a few tips on trail etiquette are listed below so we may all continue to enjoy an exceptional trail experience.
TRAIL ETIQUETTE STANDARDS
- Remain on the trail
- Respect private property
- Do not litter
- Dogs to be leashed
- Scoop your pet’s poop…dogs and horses
- Take nothing but photos
- Do not disturb wildlife and farm animals
- Obey trail signs
- Be courteous, slow down and signal or use bell when passing on bicycles
- Smile at those you meet 🙂
